Pehchaan began in a quiet corner of my heart, born from years of feeling like I was constantly trying to fit into boxes that were never made for me. Growing up, I was always told what to wear, how to look, and who to be. I followed the trends, tried to blend in, but each time, I felt more disconnected from myself. I didn’t realize it then, but what I truly craved was to express the real me, the version of myself I had buried beneath layers of expectation.
One day, on a simple walk through the city, I noticed a woman who stood out to me. She wore a modest, handmade dress, slightly faded with time, but the way she carried herself—so confident, so at peace—made me stop in my tracks. It wasn’t about the clothes; it was about her.
